LATINAMENTE: artisti latinoamericani a Bari

The BLUorG's Gallery is pleased to host the exhibition of contemporary art "LATINAMENTE", curated by Dores Sacquegna, a project which brings together for the first time in Bari interesting artists of Latin American cultural landscape. Eight artists with their poetic determine all the contradictions and the wealth of their land, a significant exchange that brings to light a world animated by the South turmoil and conflict, but who wants to confront the international art market. The exchanges and synergies are crucial in the political-economic scenario that we are going to face. The emergence of new forms of interaction are life-giving sap, and in that sense it is interesting to consider a parallel between the different South, historically, always animated by exchanges between peoples, languages and cultures, a stratification that has made it possible birth of an extraordinary wealth of artistic craftsmanship.
New forms of exchange and knowledge can only create new wealth, and it is also important to highlight the synergy of the two cultural centers protagonists in this project: the Primo Piano LivinGallery of Lecce and Bari with BLUorG, that on this occasion it is possible to point out that with foresight to network and system, in promoting national and international contemporary art, even in a difficult socio-economic situation.
